Last Monday, I had the best laugh than I had in weeks. Last week was pretty wacky. I guessed it took a turnover of events & it's in my hands now. Similar to a basketball tournament, my full hands on the rebound. I merely three hours of school that day due to a scheduled appointment for my keloid. It's getting softer & fully deflated in another injection or so. I've become bravier with all those pain & needles. It's grown to be a mild thing.

Later in the evening, I met up with my Uncle. he's just flown in with his crew. We headed 2 his hotel room & chit- chatted 4 a lil' while. He's been promoted (Congrats!) therefore he's awarded a bigger and much spacious room. He showed us Singapore's Strait Times & I read the whole tragedy that striked on Nicoll's Highway. I bet it's devastating 4 tha family members. If I were Mr. Heng's wife or close relatives, I would make sure my rights be granted. Thought we're a democratic nation?

We went surveying the hotel facilities. I loved the indoor swimming pool. It's so awesome. I miss the pool. After that, Uncle Paul led us 2 the Sports Bar. There were various television sport games that were showing. My sister snooped on the English Premier League (Her favorite!) between Chelsea & Newcastle while I watched the NBA playoffs. After dinner (Thanks Uncle Paul!), me & my Sis took pix of basketball jerseys. This dude helped us snapped the pix & along with that, he gave us a brief history on them. Very knowledgable & intellectual. Perhaps he thought we were tourists?

We spotted a 'naked angel' in the Baltimore Hotel at Downtown. Took some crazy shots. My Mom & I sort of licked you- know- what side by side. It's incredibly hilarious. We are such 'lesbians.' J/K! I like the pix when I kissed again you- know- what best. Once I upload the crazy snapshots, I will put them up on my bloggy. That was how my day turned out 2 be. Big farewell 2 Uncle Paul & thank him 4 everything!

I went 2 the woods because I wished 2 live deliberately, 2 front only the essential facts of life, & see if I could not learn what it had 2 teach & not when I came 2 live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish 2 practice resignation, unless it was quite necessary.

Tiz week is a short week. Hopefully, Fridae will arrive quickly. We're dizmizzed earlie tiz Fridae terefore probably goin' 2 lunch at anothurr Chineze place wif Miyana & all... In tha evenin', mie & Elidze goin' 2 UCLA 2 watch my Bollywood movie, Kal Ho Naa Ho Excited, sey... Datz tha bezt part. Perhapz can mit sum College guyz. Juz Kiddin'! My Mom participated in tiz contezt 2 convince Sheeraz (Tha Hozt of Tinzeltown) 2 gif her ticket 2 Breathlezz Concert starring Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan & blah- blah... So awesum. My day turned out alright, super glad it's finally Friday. It has been a light week. Speaking of light, I just got back from the store. Guessed what I bought? I bought a pack of you- know- what. I can't tolerate with my past indulgeness in that. This week, I feel burned & kinda uncomfortable with myself. Have no idea why. I feel something is missing in my life. After I lighted it up once again, I feel alive again. It's weird, I know... but that's the way it is. Me freshened up by the power of it. After a whole year... 2day was my first time purchasing it here. Tried 2 buy it from a Mexican store owned by Asian & got through it. He was like, "Are you over 18?" I'm like, "Yeah..." He fell right 4 it but he has this sorta suspicious look on his face. Phew... That was something...

Topshop's knockoffs & originals satisfy the fashion imagination.

LONDON- It's like being inside a fashion video game. A world away from the runways, at Oxford Circus, the nexuus of London style is Topshop, a 65,000 square- foot retail mecca with its own sugary pop radio station & bulk candy 4 sale near racks of gumball- shaped ear- rings & peppermint- striped plastic bangles. The place is thumping with shoppers- more than 24, 000 a day come 2 check the store as fast as the images flickering on screens over the cash registers: '70s floppy felt hats straight off last week's Michael Kors' runway, Marc Jacobs- like corduroy peacoats, baroque pink pearl & crystal vintage football jerseys. The key 2 the store's success is turnover- two deliveries a day, 300 new lines, a week &, incredibly, 7, 000 a season, according 2 brand manager Jane Shepherdson.

London, like Los Angeles, is better known in the global fashion industry 4 mass- market businesses like Topshop than 4 high- end design. But the store isn't just about knockoffs. Fifteen in- house designers create original pieces that are well- made & well- priced (though they are more expensive than usual now because of the weak dollar): a T-shirt with a tiger on the front is $26, a blush shadow- pinstripe blazer is $85 & a denim roller derby skirt is $53. A higher- priced line called Unique is sold in its own boutique.

Celebrities who can afford the clothes on tony New Bond Street nearby shop here, including Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Osbourne & Madonna. Beyonce, in town this week 4 the Brit Awards, was quoted as saying the store is "inspirational." Sometimes they prefer 2 paw through packs of Day- Glo fishnets on the main floor with the other customers, although they can use private VIP rooms downstairs & have style advisors bring merchandise 2 them, along with tea & cakes.

In 2day's topsy- turvy fashion world, Topshop's designers create the pieces that style icons such as Moss & Paltrow incorporate in2 thier own eclectic wardrobes, which in turn influence the collections by high fashion designers.

The VIP rooms- which regular people can use too- are just one of a number of Topshop's unique marketing ideas. Instead of paper shopping bags, Topshop uses printed cloth totes, which have become status symbols around London. Designs change seasonally. Elaine Kennedy & her 16- year- old daughet Erin, visiting London this week in Albany, N.Y., came 2 the store after spotting the brown & camel graphic totes on the street. "Everybody you see has one," Elaine Kennedy said. "The exchange rate is so bad, but we just had 2 come in."
